The Flute Family Showcase Concert for Flute Choir

Description

“The Flute Family Showcase Concert” is the big finale performance from the book, “Flutie’s Family Reunion”, a children’s book with recordings dedicated to teaching budding musicians about some of the many different instruments in the flute family.

In this work, each instrument in the concert flute family is introduced individually before they all play together. Therefore, this piece would work well to educate an audience on the different members of a flute choir. In fact, each of the instrument features may be played by the soloing instrument beforehand so the audience knows what instruments they are listening to during the performance.

For piccolo, flute, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute.  For intermediate+ ensembles
