About Skye Flute Music

Did you know it is possible to study music seriously but have fun and enjoy playing at the same time? Here at Skye Flute Music, we truly DO NOT believe in the expression “no pain, no gain”!

Skye Flute Music is dedicated to providing educational and performing resources for flutists that are both fulfilling and enjoyable and to creating a fun and friendly flute community. We welcome flutists at any point of their musical journey, including all ages and levels!

Digital Courses

Check out our digital courses where you work through your chosen topic at a pace that fits you. Our courses not only have lots of instructional video but also quizzes and games to really help reinforce the material through fun interaction. You can also get badges along the way, a certificate for completing the course, and points to go towards another course or class.

Best of all, anyone who enrolls in a course gets access to a private community group hosted directly on this site where they can ask questions and communicate with others who are on a similar path!

Want to try a course out? Skye Flute Music has two FREE courses called “Finding Your First or Forever Flute (and How to Make It Last)!” and “The Guide to Playing Flute Virtually”.

Publications

Looking for flute sheet music or books? We have a variety of original compositions, arrangements, activities (many are free!), and books with many more frequently being added!

We also have some special arrangements made of non-public domain music available through other publishers.

MEET YOUR TEACHER AT SKYE FLUTE MUSIC

Erika Skye Andres

Hello! I’m Erika, and I founded Skye Flute Music to create a place where flutists can not only find resources for their performing or educational needs but also to foster a caring community—a virtual flute home—where they can feel free to connect with others who share a similar affection for flute.

I have been playing flute for most of my life and am just as passionate about it now as I was when I first started, if not even more so. I love all varieties of flutes and enjoy creating and listening to many types of music. But most of all, I love teaching, my students, and the flute community!
