This children’s book (or book for the young at heart) takes the reader on a journey through time to meet the many instruments found in the flute’s long history, including the Hohle Fels and Jiahu flutes, ney, bansuri, Native American flute, recorder, Renaissances flute, fife, Baroque and Boehm flutes, and the flute with glissando headjoint.

This book includes recordings of all the flutes being played as well as a digital version of the book with recordings right inside the pages.
