Welcome to the “Finding Your First or Forever Flute (and How to Make It Last)!” course!

There are three sections to this course:

-In section one, you will learn about the standard features of the flute, different kinds of beginner instruments so you can find the right instrument for your age or need for physical accommodations, and purchasing options when selecting your first flute.

-Then in section two, you will learn about the many possible choices and upgrades you can have on either your first or next flute.

-And in the final section, you will learn what accessories you might want to have as well as best practices for keeping your flute playing its best. In case you wish to obtain any of the accessories, you can get a list with links to most of the accessories mentioned in this course along with a few other recommendations at the recommended resources page. Links will also be provided throughout the course as well but the most updated ones will be on that resources page.

Please note that you can take digital notes while watching the course! There is a spot for you to type them at the bottom of each page. You can save them and then access them later to view or download from your profile under “My Notes” found under “Courses.”

If you complete the course, you will get a certificate as well as a badge and points to apply to future courses or classes! Completing the final quiz will also earn you a badge and points.
